Pre-Hospital EM

Pre-hospital Emergency Medicine (PHEM) is an emerging specialty, closely aligned to EM. The College PHEM subcommittee have been working with other Colleges on:

• Developing an intercollegiate board for training in PHEM
• Developing a competence framework for subspecialty practitioners together with a competency assessment framework
• Piloting training programmes to deliver the curriculum and career structures for practitioners pending subspecialty recognition

The subcommittee is chaired by Mr John Black
